I visited this bakery on a Sunday afternoon. We were at Crissy field and decided to walk to the bakery (about 45 mins each way) but the walk was well worth it! There was a line but it went quickly. The space inside was small but it worked. The staff was friendly and the croissants were delectable. They were honestly better than a lot of the croissants we had in Paris (!?) they were so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying this shop if you want to try some next level croissants.

THIS PLACE IS SOOOO WORTH THE HYPE!!! The morning bun is LIFE CHANGING. It is sooo soft and crunchy. Perfect balance of sweet and slightly citrusy. I parked around the corner in the neighborhood next to the school. Lots of parking there! I came on a Saturday at 1:30 pm. There were 30 people in line and I only waited 13 minutes. Totally worth it!

If you're from or visiting SF, chances are you were recommended to check out Arsicault Bakery.. and for good reason! I came here on a Thursday around 12 PM and thankfully only had to wait around.. 15-20 minutes and also glad that nothing was sold out yet! The last time I came on a weekend afternoon.. oof I had to drive back home since the line was way too long. I ordered the Almond Croissant, Almond Chocolate Croissant, Ham & Cheese Croissant, as well as the Chocolate Croissant. The croissants were also so soft, flaky (good flaky, not like biting into a granola bar and ending up with crumbs everywhere flaky), and buttery! I especially loved the powdered sugar on top of the almond croissants :) The bottom of the croissant was also thicc which gives the pastry more "oomph"! I love that the dessert croissants weren't too sweet and the savory croissants weren't too salty. A perfect balance! Would def stop by more often if the lines weren't so long most of the time! Didn't have any trouble finding parking on a weekday but it'll definitely be tougher on the weekends so come early! It would also be nice if we could order for pick-up.

A MUST VISIT IN SF! This spot was hyped up by a good friend who took me here and it did not disappoint! If you're looking for pastries while in SF, definitely give Arsicault a visit. I've been told that long lines form here, even on weekdays! Luckily when we paid them a visit, there wasn't a super long line and we were able to get some of my friend's favorites. This tiny bakery has a line outside because the inside is so small, it mainly acts as a pick up. They have a menu outside of what they have for the day and update if things are sold out or not. Although we came a bit later in the day, we were able to grab some of my friend's recs- the almond croissant, ham & cheese croissant, and some of their shortbread cookies (which I took home for friends). I'm not usually an almond croissant fan but this one may have just changed my mind. I am also a self-proclaimed ham & cheese croissant connoisseur and this one was almost as good as my most fav croissant that I got in Paris. Arsicault, you have my heart! I will be back next visit!
